Project
The city and the periphery
In 2021, I started a travel writing project on the city. I focus on banal places, peripheries and prevailing atmospheres. My journey began in Paris in 2020. I roamed the streets of Paris' suburbs during the entire pandemic lockdown period.
My first published output is Grand Paris, Cathedral, which appeared in Fields and Stations 's Issue 6. Fields and Stations are specialised in "passion pieces about places".
I have finished writing a book taking stock of my pandemic-era Parisian suburb exploration in French. I am in the process of finding a publishing house ready to go ahead with it.
My journey on cities continues. I settled in a small town in the south of France in 2023, where I am exploring the specific experiences of living in beautiful but crisis-ridden towns in peripheral areas of Europe.
